I Love Coffee (And Possibly a Little Sleep)

Life is totally hectic these days. Between work, family, and trying to squeeze in some me time/self-care/relaxation, it can be tough to keep up. But there's one thing that always gets me through: coffee. I truly love the smell of a good cup of joe, and it gives me the motivation I need to tackle the day.

Of course, I also know that sleep is essential. But sometimes, when you're running through a busy schedule, it can be hard to get enough shut-eye. So, on those days when I'm feeling particularly overwhelmed, I might just indulge in a little extra coffee (and maybe even skip a nap/power nap/quick snooze).

No criticism here – we all have our habits/guilty pleasures. And for me, it's a warm mug of coffee and the promise of a productive day/getting things done/accomplishing my goals.

When life gets overwhelming, and the usual self-care practices aren't sufficient, I turn to my peculiar source of support: a trusty brewing device. This therapeutic process of grinding beans, mixing hot water, and patiently allowing for the perfect brew becomes my escape. Each glug carries with it a feeling of tranquility, grounding me in the current experience.

So, while I may sometimes seek out a therapist, my coffee maker remains a consistent source of support through life's adventures.

Let's be real, adulting/being responsible/keeping it together is a tough/grueling/real pain. Between work/school/trying to figure out life, there's barely time/energy/motivation left for anything else. That's where coffee comes in. It's the lifeblood that helps us push through/get stuff done/pretend we have it all together. Whether you like it black/with cream/extra sugary, a good cup of joe can give you focus.
